About This Part
Duo Apollos, stylized Duo αpollos, is a Takara Tomy Layer built for the Burst System's God Layer System that first appeared in Japan in February 2018 alongside Duo Aeclipse 7Star Unite, a CoroCoro-exclusive B-00 booster. Its hexagonal outline carries notches on every side, echoing a six-bladed Draciel Shield, while a face moulded into one side represents Apollo, the Greek and Roman sun god the part borrows its name from. The God Layer System lets it split apart like its counterpart Duo Artemis, the two halves combining into Duo Aeclipse.
In Play
The pointed teeth suggest an Attack-oriented build closer to a six-pointed Xcalibur than a true Defense part, and the light weight typical of God Layers leaves it vulnerable to self-bursting; joined with Duo Artemis its performance is instead covered under Duo Aeclipse.
