About This Part
Hasbro's Dranzer Spiral came to the Burst System in western countries through the Dragoon Storm and Dranzer Spiral Dual Pack. Like the Japanese release it is based on, it reworks the Double Wing Attack Ring and Dranzer Bit Chip from the Spin Gear System into a thicker elliptical layer with two bird-head wings and a fixed metal chip depicting the Dranzer bit-beast, its wings drawn in tighter than the source ring for a smaller footprint. The layer's slopes cannot absorb the recoil that its aggressive shape generates, so it bursts on its own with little provocation.
In Play
The community sees Hasbro's Dranzer Spiral as essentially unchanged from Takara Tomy's version, carrying the same heavy recoil, light build and weak Burst Resistance, and treats it as a piece for collecting rather than competition.
- Debuted in western countries in the Dragoon Storm and Dranzer Spiral Dual Pack (E2545).
- Reissued in the Elite Warrior 4 Pack as Dranzer Spiral Spread Liner (E2458).
