About This Part
Takara Tomy's Dranzer Spiral entered the Burst System in Japan on November 25th, 2016, as the B-00 wbba. Store-exclusive booster Dranzer Spiral Spread Trans. The layer reworks the Double Wing Attack Ring and Dranzer Bit Chip from the Spin Gear System into a thicker elliptical shape with two bird-head wings and a fixed metal chip showing the Dranzer bit-beast, its wings pulled in tighter than the original ring's. Its teeth are sized similarly to those on Nova Neptune, but that similarity works against it rather than for it.
In Play
The community finds that Dranzer Spiral's aggressive wing shape combined with teeth too short to hold up under the resulting recoil causes it to self-burst far too often for tournament play, ranking it as a collector's item alongside Storm Spriggan, which suffers from the same flaw.
