About This Part
Takara Tomy's Dranzer Flame joined the Burst System in Japan on December 28th, 2017, through the B-101 Random Booster Vol. 9 Beat Kukulcan.7U.Hn. It reshapes the Flame Wing Attack Ring and Dranzer Bit Chip from the Spin Gear System into a thicker, elliptical layer with two bird-head wings as its contact points and a fixed metal chip showing the Dranzer bit-beast, its wings pulled in more compactly than the original ring and stripped of their Upper Attack slopes. Three tall teeth suggest strong Burst Resistance, but a thin, hollow, single layer of plastic keeps the whole piece too light to make good on that promise.
In Play
The community finds that Dranzer Flame's aggressive wing shape combined with its light weight leads to self-bursts far too readily for tournament use, and treats it as a piece worth owning for a collection rather than for competitive play.
- Debuted in Japan on December 28th, 2017, in the B-101 Random Booster Vol. 9 Beat Kukulcan.7U.Hn.
- Reissued in the B-130 Random Booster Vol. 13 Air Knight.12E.Et.
- Reissued as a CoroCoro-exclusive Metal Red Ver.
- Reissued in the B-00 Bakuten Shoot Beyblade 20th Anniversary Set.
The Competitive View
Despite tall teeth suggesting good burst resistance, Dranzer Flame is made from a single hollow layer of plastic, and its resulting light weight generates too little inertia to back up that recoil, making it burst easily; its teeth are reported to be weaker in style than Driger S's, closer to Draciel's or Dragoon's.
Verdict as the draft gives it: Should never be used competitively due to easy self-bursting; suitable for collection purposes only.

- Three tall teeth
