About This Part
Takara Tomy's Dragoon Storm entered the Burst System in Japan in November 2016 through the CoroCoro-exclusive Dragoon Storm Wing Xtreme (Aniki Ver.) booster. The layer reworks the Reverse Dragon Attack Ring and Dragoon Bit Chip from the Spin Gear System into a square, four-headed dragon shape with a fixed metal chip depicting the Dragoon bit-beast, its heads pulled in tighter than the original ring to shrink the overall footprint. It carries teeth on par with Victory Valkyrie's, but a thin, hollow, single-layer build leaves it too light for those teeth to hold up against recoil in nearly every matchup.
In Play
The community considers Dragoon Storm too aggressively shaped and too light to hold its own once the heavier SwitchStrike and God Layer System parts arrived, ranking it below left-spin attack options such as Nightmare Longinus and Legend Spriggan, and treats it as a collector's piece rather than a competitive one.
