About This Part
Hasbro brought its own version of Dragoon Storm to the Burst System, releasing it in western countries inside the Dragoon Storm and Dranzer Spiral Dual Pack (E2545). Like Takara Tomy's original, it reworks the Reverse Dragon Attack Ring and Dragoon Bit Chip from the Spin Gear System into a diamond-shaped layer with four dragon-head contact points and a fixed metal chip bearing the Dragoon bit-beast. Hasbro's mould is even more compact than its Japanese counterpart, cutting recoil slightly, but its slopes are noticeably weaker, which lowers Burst Resistance and leaves it prone to bursting on its own.
In Play
The community finds that the softer slopes push Hasbro's Dragoon Storm into more self-bursts than the Takara Tomy version despite its lower recoil, and treats it as a piece for collecting rather than competition.
- Debuted in western countries in the Dragoon Storm and Dranzer Spiral Dual Pack (E2545).
