About This Part
Draciel Shield is Takara Tomy's Burst System take on the original series' Cross Spike Attack Ring and Draciel Bit Chip, released in Japan as part of Beyblade's 15th anniversary with the B-67 Random Booster Vol. 5 Gigant Gaia.Q.F on December 28th, 2016. The result is an overall square/diamond shape with four turtle-head projections tipped with flat spikes surrounding a centre image of the bit-beast Draciel; those turtle heads sit more compact than on the original Attack Ring, making this piece somewhat smaller, its bit-chip is fixed rather than removable, and its teeth compare to those on Victory Valkyrie.
In Play
Its pointed shape leaves it functioning more like a four-pointed Xcalibur than a defensive piece, and while that shape suggests attack potential, a hollow build makes it one of the lightest layers in the game; the resulting low inertia paired with a high-recoil design leaves its teeth unable to compensate, so the community rates it as too burst-prone to compete and better suited to collecting.
