About This Part
Deep Caynox C3 is a Hasbro layer modelled closely on Takara Tomy's Deep Chaos, sharing its nearly round two-winged perimeter, with each wing split into three blades and one side's blade protruding further and sloped for stamina; it debuted in western countries in the SwitchStrike Starter Pack, Deep Caynox C3 4Flow Bearing. As part of the SwitchStrike System, its wings sit on vertical springs, cushioning impacts and pushing back to destabilize an opponent in the same "Bound Defense" style as God Valkyrie, Guardian Kerbeus and Jerk.
In Play
Being nearly identical to Deep Chaos, it has since been outclassed by later Takara Tomy layers, but the community still runs it where those stronger pieces are restricted, such as the WBO's Burst Limited format or Hasbro-only formats; elsewhere it is kept mainly for collecting.
