About This Part
Bloody Longinus arrived in Japan on April 28th, 2018 through the B-110 Starter Bloody Longinus 13 Jolt, a Takara Tomy left-spin attack Layer for the Cho-Z Layer System. Five dragon heads — one centred, four lining the wings that serve as contact points — form an aggressive diamond outline echoing the anime's dragon beast, with each snout and wingtip shaped like a spearhead, a nod to its namesake, the Roman soldier Longinus of Christian legend. In keeping with the Cho-Z Layer System, its four outer dragon heads are cast in metal, leaving it heavier than most God Layers.
In Play
That metal weight generates strong inertia for knock-out and burst potential, and spinning left lets it mesh like a gear against right-spin rivals of similar speed, sharply cutting recoil and burst rate, though its diamond shape can still land solid knock-outs against opposite-spin foes and gives it an edge over its predecessor Nightmare Longinus in left-versus-left burst attack, even if it falls short of Geist Fafnir or Spriggan Requiem for spin-equalization. Its wide build extends its attack range and forgives imprecise banking, while three medium-to-tall teeth hold up under recoil even against another left-spin rival, aided further by its heavier build. Like other Cho-Z Layers it sits off-balance, draining stamina and risking broken banking patterns unless it is fitted with a Level Chip. The community rates it among the strongest left-versus-left attack Layers of its era and more versatile than Nightmare Longinus, a worthwhile pickup though not considered essential.

The Competitive View
The heavy metal wings generate high knockout and burst attack via inertia, and against right-spin opponents spinning at a mismatched speed the difference creates extra recoil and burst attack rather than the gear-like recoil reduction seen at matched spin speeds; its width also gives more attack range and banking-pattern margin for error, as in the combo Bloody Longinus 0/2/4/5/7 Bump/Meteor Jolt/Xtreme/Variable (Worn).
Verdict as the draft gives it: Rated a must-have as the best Left-Spin Attack Layer at time of writing, with more Disc versatility and combo weight than predecessor Nightmare Longinus — though the author flags the whole entry as pre-release speculation.
