About This Part
Debuting in Japan on December 28th, 2017 through the B-101 Random Booster Vol. 9, Beat Kukulcan is a Takara Tomy attack Layer for the God Layer System. Its teardrop-shaped body carries two large wings that form two contact points, a layout similar to Quad Quetzalcoatl's, along with a serpent-and-bird head moulded on its underside for its namesake, the Mayan feathered serpent Kukulkan. A sub-layer gimmick unlocks once a combination is roughly halfway to bursting, releasing the contact points so spin force pushes them outward.
In Play
Those ridged contact points bite into an opponent's Layer for strong burst-attack output while keeping recoil low, aided by heavy weight from the part's thickness and sturdy teeth that resist self-bursting; the trade-off is that this grip-based attack style needs a mobile tip to work and does not suit stationary attack setups. The community rates it a reliable answer to Maximum Garuda and a leading attack Layer overall, worth adding to a collection though not considered essential.
