About This Part
Takara Tomy brought Archer Hercules to Japan on June 23rd, 2018 in the B-115 Booster Archer Hercules 13 Eternal, building it as a symmetrical stamina Layer for the Cho-Z Layer System. Two bows, lined with metal in keeping with that system's designs, sit on either side beneath a face framed by a lion's mane, standing in for the Greek hero Heracles; the metal lining leaves the part heavier than most God Layers. Under spin the bows are meant to swing outward and widen the Layer's outward weight distribution before retracting as speed drops, though the actual movement is too slight to shift stamina noticeably.
In Play
Even setting the gimmick aside, its weight distribution and medium-to-tall teeth let it beat other leading stamina and defence Layers of its time while keeping recoil low and burst resistance high. Like other Cho-Z Layers it sits off-balance, which drains stamina and raises burst risk unless a Level Chip is fitted beneath it. Community opinion still ranks it as one of the strongest right-spin stamina Layers of its era, though newer parts have since left it too light for current competition, leaving it a collector's item.
