About This Part

Six square protrusions with small nubs between them define Hasbro's 6, a Gravity Ring for the Burst System's QuadDrive System that debuted west with the Cyclone Fury String Launcher Set. The shape follows Takara Tomy's 6 Armor, but plastic casting cuts its weight from roughly 13.4 grams to about 1.5 grams; spreading mass across six points is meant to raise Stamina, though the community finds no measurable edge over other Gravity Rings, all built from the same light plastic.

In Play

QuadDrive System Layers rank below Takara Tomy's Cho-Z Layer System releases in the community's view, so 6 stays a collection piece for Standard and Limited play and has no legality in Burst Classic.

  • Brought to western markets by Hasbro in the Cyclone Fury String Launcher Set.
  • Its weight was reduced from about 13.4 grams in the metal 6 Armor to roughly 1.5 grams in the plastic Gravity Ring.

The Competitive View

Its overall shape resembles 7's, implying similar Attack-friendly weight distribution, but thin protrusions and large center holes make it noticeably lighter than 7 and other heavier discs. It remains heavier than base discs like Heavy and Gravity, but discs such as 2, 4, 5, 7, and 8 outclass it with better weight distribution.

Verdict as the draft gives it: Outclassed for competitive use overall; recommended for collection purposes only.
