About This Part

0 is a Gravity Ring that Hasbro produced for the Burst System's QuadDrive System, first shipping west inside the QuadDrive Starter Pack Astral Spryzen S7 Over-Q Quattro-Q+Quattro I-0. Like other Gravity Rings, it forms the weighted base of a QuadDrive Layer, moulded in plastic rather than the metal used for Takara Tomy's equivalent Armor parts.

In Play

Community consensus treats QuadDrive System Layers as outclassed by Takara Tomy's later Cho-Z Layer System releases, so 0 is recommended only for collection purposes in the Standard and Limited formats, and it has no legality at all in the Burst Classic Format.

  • Brought to western markets by Hasbro in the QuadDrive Starter Pack Astral Spryzen S7 Over-Q Quattro-Q+Quattro I-0.

The Competitive View

Its high weight and Outward Weight Distribution give strong stamina, knockout resistance and attack potential, and its Frame compatibility lets it add traits like Life-After-Death via Glaive or Cross, or extra weight via Bump or Meteor; the higher burst risk that heavy, high-OWD discs usually carry is offset by the God Layer/Switch-Strike System's overall heavier weight.

Verdict as the draft gives it: A must-buy disc for competitive play, provided the paired Layer and Tip can handle the added burst risk.

  • Described as the heaviest Core Disk at time of writing, heavier than "7"
