About This Part
Phantom reached Japan on September 17th, 2011 in the BB-118 Starter Phantom Orion B:D, a Takara Tomy 4D System Fusion Wheel, with a western release following in the BB-118-FX Spark FX Starter Pack. Its wide Metal Frame carries four blue spheres arranged to suggest the Orion constellation and a grinning face that lines up with stickers on the Orion Energy Ring, while a lightweight translucent-purple plastic Core sits at its centre; flipping the Frame swaps it between a smoother Stamina Mode and a more jagged, hexagonal Attack Mode. That plastic Core pushes nearly all of Phantom's weight to the outer rim, which is what gives it such strong Stamina.
In Play
Bladers generally run Phantom in Stamina Mode, where the community counts it and Scythe among the most versatile Stamina-Type Fusion Wheels of the era, capable of beating wheels like Hades and Twisted and out-spinning Scythe itself.
- Released in Japan on September 17th, 2011 with the BB-118 Starter Phantom Orion B:D.
- Released in western countries with the BB-118-FX Spark FX Starter Pack Phantom Orion B:D.
