About This Part
Omega debuted in Japan on January 20th, 2012 through the Strongest Dragonis 4D Guide, then reached the west with the BB-M28-FX Spark FX Starter Pack Omega Dragonis 85XF, a right-spin Takara Tomy Fusion Wheel built from a Core and a Frame. Three curved, scale-like protrusions on the Core sit opposite three blunter, talon-shaped ones, and rotating the Frame over them switches the piece between Assault Mode, which bridges the gap between the two protrusion types, and Barrage Mode, which hides the scale protrusions entirely.
In Play
Omega shares its low recoil with Lightning, which widens the window for knockouts, but it lacks Lightning's spin-absorbing stamina and the raw weight of top-tier Attack wheels, so the community treats Flash, Variares and Blitz as the more dependable competitive picks.
