About This Part
Kreis reached Japanese shelves on January 21st, 2012 as a Takara Tomy 4D System Fusion Wheel, bundled in the BB-113 Starter Kreis Cygnus 145WD. Its Metal Frame carries two swan-head protrusions on one axis and two wall-like ridges on the other, and flipping that Frame over swaps the piece between a rigid, wall-lined Attack Mode and a rounder Defense Mode able to slide about 60 degrees either way. The Core beneath it is a simple four-sided ring whose job is mainly to seat the Frame.
In Play
The community regards Kreis as a moderate Defense wheel that edges out Jade thanks to lower recoil, while its sliding gimmick also gives it enough attack power in Defense Mode to trouble stronger combinations depending on the matchup.
