About This Part
Glaive is a Frame Takara Tomy issued for the Burst System, the God Layer System and the SwitchStrike System. It debuted in Japan on March 18, 2017 with the starter Kreis Satan 2Glaive Loop, then reached western markets through Hasbro's Star Storm Battle Set. It is mostly round with two sharp, wave-shaped points on either side; those points sit too low to reach an opponent's Layer, and their upward angle keeps them from scraping the stadium floor, giving Glaive strong Life-After-Death close to Cross.
In Play
The community rates Glaive a must-have for competitive play, since its status as a Frame lets it pair with far heavier Core Discs for greater Knock-Out Resistance, making it an excellent stand-in whenever Cross itself is unavailable.

The Competitive View
As a Frame attachment, Glaive lets a Core Disc pair with the much heavier discs used in defense and stamina builds, boosting a combo's knockout resistance without giving up the Life-After-Death its round shape provides.
Verdict as the draft gives it: A top-tier part for defense and stamina combinations that every blader should own; the article notes Glaive appears in nearly every defense/stamina combo.
