About This Part
Dagger is a Frame Takara Tomy issued for the Burst System and the Cho-Z Layer System. It debuted in Japan on August 11, 2018 with the B-121 Cho-Z Triple Booster Set, and reached western markets through Hasbro's Pro Series Starter Pack carrying Prime Apocalypse 0Dagger Ultimate Reboot'. The piece carries two sharp points on each side, echoing a double-edged version of Hit, meant to raise Burst Attack when the disc meets an opponent's Layer, but that contact rarely happens since most Burst Performance Tips sit at similar heights. The same points also warp its perimeter, cutting into the Life-After-Death that a rounder Frame like Cross or Glaive would offer, and its overall weight is too light to help Attack setups the way Bump or Meteor do.
In Play
The community considers Dagger outclassed on every front and keeps it as a collection piece only.

The Competitive View
The protrusions warp the otherwise round perimeter, cutting life-after-death below Cross/Glaive levels, and its low weight compared with Frames like Bump or Meteor limits its contribution to attack combos.
Verdict as the draft gives it: Outclassed by other Frames due to low weight, warped perimeter, and a largely non-functional gimmick; recommended for collection purposes only.
- Two sharp opposing protrusions
- Compatible with any Cho-Z Layer, not exclusive to one part
