About This Part
Angle, stylized as αngle, is a Frame Takara Tomy and Hasbro issued across the Burst System, Cho-Z Layer System and SwitchStrike System. It debuted in Japan on September 21, 2018 inside the B-00 Booster Shining Amaterios Aero'Angle Anchor, then reached western stores through the SwitchStrike Starter Pack carrying Shining Amaterios A3 Aero'Angle Anchor. The triangular piece carries small protrusions around its rim and pairs well with Core Discs like 7 and 00 for added Attack potential, though it is lighter than heavyweight peers such as Bump and Meteor. Its shape also complements the Nightmare Longinus and Nightmare Lúinor L3 Energy Layers, adding Burst Resistance when seated on them.
In Play
The community treats Angle as a collection piece in the Standard and Classic formats since lighter Core Disc and Frame setups fall behind heavier Forge Discs, but rates it a worthwhile pickup in the Limited format specifically for building around the Nightmare Longinus or Nightmare Lúinor L3 Layers.
