About This Part
Right Engine Gear (Metal Semi-Flat) is a metal-tipped Engine Gear that shipped with Driger G and weighs 11.0 grams. Despite the Semi-Flat label, its tip sits fairly flat against the stadium floor; as with Dranzer V's tip, the name refers to the tip's smaller diameter rather than any real bevel on its edges. The metal contact point gives it decent Survival for an Attack-oriented tip, and the Engine Gear itself adds a sudden speed burst once the fitted Blade Base triggers it.
In Play
The community treats this tip as unremarkable next to stronger Attack alternatives such as SG Metal Flat Base (Gaia Dragoon V Version): its gimmick fires unpredictably, its grip is poor, and the added height it forces on the stack often keeps the Attack Ring from landing clean hits, so most players consider the whole Engine Gear line, this piece included, not worth using.
- Debuted with the release of Driger G.
