Right Engine Gear (Metal Semi-Flat)
Metal Semi-Flat, fitted to Driger G, actually sits fairly flat despite its name; as with Dranzer V, the "Semi-Flat" label seems to refer to its smaller diameter rather than any real bevelling of its edges.

About This Part
Metal Semi-Flat, fitted to Driger G, actually sits fairly flat despite its name; as with Dranzer V, the "Semi-Flat" label seems to refer to its smaller diameter rather than any real bevelling of its edges. That shape gives reasonably aggressive movement and decent speed for Attack, and its metal build lends it solid Survival next to most other Attack-type tips.
In Play
It remains unexceptional against stronger alternatives such as the SG Metal Flat Base fitted to Gaia Dragoon V, since the Engine Gear's speed burst is hard to control, the tip's traction is poor enough to risk a self-knockout, and the tall height it forces cuts into how well most Attack Rings can reach an opponent, leaving the community to treat it as effectively unusable.
Collector's Note
Right-spin Engine Gear whose tip is really a small flat rather than a properly bevelled semi-flat. Produces only mild aggressive movement; performs best on Final Clutch Bases since First Clutch tends to break the flower pattern. Generally outclassed by a plain Normal Base for practical use and clearly beaten by Right Engine Gear (Metal Flat) for performance - mostly of interest for showing off the Engine Gear gimmick rather than for competitive play. Ships on Driger G, Dranzer G, and Hasbro's Metal Driger.
