About This Part
Bandit, sometimes called Bandid, is an Element Wheel Takara Tomy released for the Synchrome System. It debuted in Japan on August 11, 2012 with the BBG-20 booster Bandid Goreim DF145BS, and reached western shelves as Hasbro's SS-20 Bandit Golem DF145BS. Its blocky shape with dagger-like ridges is built to complement the Golem Warrior Wheel, echoing Golem's own segmented blocks.
In Play
In standard Synchrome play Bandit sits behind a pair of Warrior Wheels, but under the WBO's MFB Limited Format, which restricts the Synchrome gimmick, the community rates it as a top Attack pick alongside Warrior Wheels such as Wyvern, Zirago and Pegasus. Takara Tomy's mould is also considered sturdier and heavier than Hasbro's, whose plastic release runs lighter and wears faster.
- Debuted in Japan on August 11, 2012 with BBG-20 Bandid Goreim DF145BS.
- Reached western countries as Hasbro's SS-20 Bandit Golem DF145BS.
- Reissued in the SS-20A Behemoth Golem Earth Synchrome 2-Pack and as SS-23/BBG-23 Genbu/Genbull releases.
