About This Part

This right-spin Drive Chip for the QuadDrive System is Hasbro's Valtryek V7, debuting in western markets with the QuadDrive Starter Pack built around Salvage Valtryek V7. Its armoured face continues the look of earlier Valtryek chips and is meant to evoke Valkyrie, the handmaidens of Odin in Norse mythology. It carries an average weight for its class and average resistance to Bursting, and unlike its Takara Tomy counterpart it lacks the "Bound Attack" gimmick.

In Play

Its average slope leaves Valtryek V7 behind tighter right-spin Drive Chips such as Perseus P7, and QuadDrive Layers generally trail Takara Tomy's Cho-Z Layer System and later lines, so the community treats it as a collector's piece; it is not legal in the WBO's Burst Classic Format.
