About This Part
Hasbro made Perseus P7 as a right-spin Drive Chip for the QuadDrive System within the Burst System line, and it first went on sale in western markets through the Destruction Belfyre B7 and Decay Perseus P7 Dual Pack. Its face carries a side profile of Perseus, the Greek mythological hero the chip is named for. It carries an average weight for its part class and a high resistance to Bursting, and unlike Takara Tomy's counterpart part it is molded entirely without metal.
In Play
Competitive players consider Hasbro's QuadDrive Layers well behind Takara Tomy's Cho-Z Layer System and later lines, so Perseus P7 mainly suits collectors; it is the tightest right-spin Drive Chip Hasbro has released and is worth using only when a deck calls for a right-spin Blade, and it is not legal in the WBO's Burst Classic Format.
- Released by Hasbro for the Burst System and QuadDrive System.
- Debuted in western markets with the Destruction Belfyre B7 and Decay Perseus P7 Dual Pack.
