Upper
Upper carries two sloped metal wings, angled to lift the top in right spin and press it down in left spin, though the shallow pitch and narrow width leave the effect too small to matter.

About This Part
Upper carries two sloped metal wings, angled to lift the top in right spin and press it down in left spin, though the shallow pitch and narrow width leave the effect too small to matter. It debuted in Japan on May 28th, 2016 with the B-44 Booster Holy Horusood Upper Claw and later reached the west through Hasbro's Starter Pack Hyper Horusood H2 Upper Claw. It is also lighter than the popular stamina Discs 4 and 7, leaving its knock-out resistance below theirs.
In Play
Its light weight and near-nonfunctional wing gimmick leave Upper outclassed by Discs such as 4 and 7, and the community treats it as a collector's piece only.
- Debuted in Japan on May 28th, 2016 with the B-44 Booster Holy Horusood Upper Claw.
- Debuted in western markets with Hasbro's Starter Pack Hyper Horusood H2 Upper Claw.
The Competitive View
Upper's negligible aerodynamic gimmick leaves it as just a lighter disc than Spread, giving it worse knockout resistance than either Spread or Gravity with no offsetting benefit.
Verdict as the draft gives it: Outclassed by discs like Spread and Gravity; suitable for collection purposes only.
