Triple is a three-sided, circular Disc from Takara Tomy topped with a stacked triangle that forms three knob-like protrusions, gathering some of its weight around them. It debuted in Japan on June 18th, 2016 with the B-46 Booster Obelisk Odin Triple Xtreme and later reached the west through Hasbro's Wild Wyvron W2 and Omni Odax O2 Dual Pack. Its weight bunching gives it a role on three-sided Layers such as Valkyrie for attack, though it is too light to match the best attack Discs and too lopsided for other roles.
In Play
Valkyrie Triple Xtreme is a recognised attack pairing, with Triple's synergy with Valkyrie and Xtreme's speed making a solid offensive combination; even so, Bladers now consider Triple heavily outclassed by Core Discs and Disc Frames, leaving it a collector's piece.
