About This Part
Tapered is a round DB Disc from Takara Tomy with an even weight spread that suits any combination. Its round build lifts outward weight distribution and stamina potential, while its heavy mass also supports attack and defence. Its overall shape and behaviour track closely with Over, the main difference being that Tapered slopes downward into a cone rather than Over's straight cylinder. It debuted in Japan on May 29th, 2021 with the B-185 Booster Vanish Fafnir Tapered Kick-3.
In Play
Tapered's conical shape and heavy weight make it versatile in any combination; the community treats it as a solid third choice for stamina behind Over and Illegal, and it pairs particularly well with the Bearing' Driver, ranking as a welcome but not essential piece for the WBO's Burst format. It is not legal in the WBO's Burst GT, Burst Limited, or Burst Classic formats.
