About This Part

Legacy is a Takara Tomy disc for the Burst System's Dynamite Battle Layer System, a circular DB disc with six downward-sloping blades around its rim that make it, in effect, a DB-disc counterpart to Boost, whose design it echoes; two of its blades also carry a "Z"-shaped motif referencing the Zenith disc. It debuted in Japan on December 11th, 2021 with the B-193 booster Ultimate Valkyrie Legacy Variable'-9. The blades are meant to create Down Force in right spin and Upper Force in left spin, but in practice the effect is negligible and the blades cut into Legacy's Life-After-Death, so its shape and weight distribution suit attack combinations best.

In Play

The community rates Legacy as outclassed by earlier DB discs such as Giga, Over, and Nexus paired with the S Gear or D Gear, which run heavier and more versatile, calling it a welcome but non-essential piece for the WBO's Burst format; it is not legal in Burst GT, Limited, or Classic.
