About This Part
Kou is a disc made by Takara Tomy for the Burst System's Superking Layer System, one of three Limit Break discs (its name drawn from the Japanese word for "Emperor") built for layers carrying the Burn, Volcano, or The End rings. It first appeared in Japan on November 28th, 2020 with the B-175 booster Lucifer The End Kou Drift. Of the three Limit Break discs, Kou carries the least weight.
In Play
Because Kou only fits Limit Break layers, which run too light for competitive formats, the community does not recommend it for the WBO's Burst format, and it is not legal in the WBO's Burst GT, Limited, or Classic formats.
- Debuted in Japan on November 28th, 2020 with the B-175 booster Lucifer The End Kou Drift.
