About This Part
Illegal is a disc Takara Tomy released for the Dynamite Battle Layer System and Burst Ultimate Layer Series, debuting in Japan on August 6th, 2022 inside the B-201 Zest Achilles Customize Set. Its circular build carries a strongly rim-loaded weight spread for high stamina, with four wide gaps cut between the centre hub and the outer edge to push that spread further, and its smooth round edge gives it strong life-after-death. Its heavy weight rounds out the package, making it useful across attack, defence, and stamina roles alike.
In Play
Competitive players treat Illegal, alongside Over, as one of the most versatile discs available and a top pick for the WBO's Burst format, though it holds no legal standing in the WBO's Burst GT, Limited, or Classic formats.
- Released in Japan August 6th, 2022 with the B-201 Zest Achilles Customize Set.
- Illegal's abbreviation, Il, is meant to echo the 11 disc that debuted with the first Z Achilles Beyblade.
