About This Part

Gravity is a disc Takara Tomy released for the Dual Layer branch of the Burst System, debuting in Japan on April 2nd, 2016 with the B-36 Rising Ragnaruk Gravity Revolve booster and reaching the west through Hasbro's Raging Roktavor R2 Gravity Revolve starter pack. Its thick, octagonal build carries steel-plate-styled panels across eight segments and the usual tabbed "G" markings for identification. It once tied Heavy as the heaviest disc in the game, and its wider diameter and rim-loaded weight once gave it the strongest stamina around alongside a pronounced flywheel effect, though its outward spread also means impacts get absorbed by the layer itself, causing tooth-skipping.

In Play

Gravity found use in balance builds like Dark Deathscyther Gravity Defense and pure-stamina builds like Deathscyther Gravity Revolve, but discs such as 7 and 0 have since overtaken its stamina, and the rise of Core Discs and Disc Frames has left it a welcome rather than essential pick today.
