About This Part
Hasbro's take on Convert is a disc built for the HyperSphere branch of the Burst line, first arriving in western stores inside the Union Achilles A5 Convert Xtend+-H starter pack. It copies the general four-sided outline of Takara Tomy's original but is scaled down, dropping the mode-change gimmick and leaving a hollow underside that cuts its weight well below its Japanese counterpart. Like other HyperSphere discs it can carry a Disc Frame, but its light mass gives it little edge over the Core Discs most bladers reach for instead.
In Play
The community regards Hasbro's Convert as a weaker stand-in for the Takara Tomy piece and for the Core Disc lineup, so it sees little use once Core Discs are on hand, and it holds no legal standing in the Burst Classic format.
- Debuted in western countries with the Union Achilles A5 Convert Xtend+-H HyperSphere starter pack.
