About This Part
Bumper, stylised as βumper, is a Disc made by Takara Tomy for the Burst System. It debuted in Japan on June 25th, 2016 with the B-00β Booster, Baldur Bumper Bite. The piece takes a cuboidal shape reminiscent of the mineral bismuth, cut through with numerous gaps in each square face, which leaves it very light and poorly suited to knock-out defence or attack, while its rough perimeter also hurts life-after-death and therefore stamina. That lightness can help burst resistance, but Discs such as Knuckle achieve the same protection while keeping better stamina.
In Play
Community opinion treats Bumper as suited only to collecting, since its weight is too low for attack or defence and its rough edge too poor for stamina, with discs such as Knuckle and Down matching its burst resistance while offering more stamina in return.
- Released in Japan on June 25th, 2016 with the B-00β Booster, Baldur Bumper Bite.
