About This Part
Aero, also stylised as αero, is a Core Disc from Takara Tomy that remasters the earlier Aero Disc, spanning the Burst System, the Cho-Z Layer System and the SlingShock System. It debuted in Japan on September 21st, 2018 with the B-00 Booster, Shining Amaterios Aero'Angle Anchor, and reached western stores through Hasbro's SwitchStrike Starter Pack of the same combination. Despite the shared name it looks nothing like its predecessor, instead taking the standard symmetrical, elliptical Core Disc shape built to hold a Frame. At roughly 16.7 grams it is one of the lightest Discs made, beaten in lightness only by Disc 12, which leaves it outclassed by nearly every other Core Disc that followed.
In Play
Community rankings place Aero' as collection-only across the Standard, Limited and Classic formats, since its extreme lightness leaves it behind virtually every heavier Core Disc released since.
