About This Part

3A-D is a Hasbro Disc built on Takara Tomy's 3A Chassis, shaped to match the Raid Ring and made from a metal core with a plastic perimeter riveted onto it, in the same style as the Drake GT Disc. Its jagged plastic edges form two upward-sloping blades as the main points of contact, and its shape is meant to work with Layers in the Longinus/Lúinor line. Despite the aggressive look, 3A-D is as light as Discs from the Dual Layer System and its protrusions rarely clear the Layer above them, so unlike the 3A Chassis it is based on, it fails to add real attack power to Raid or any other Layer.

In Play

The community finds a little use for it with the Lost Longinus/Lost Lúinor L2 Layers, where its contact points are left exposed, in the combination Lost Longinus/Lost Lúinor L2 3A-D Xtreme/Hunter-S, but that combination is heavily outclassed even in the WBO's Burst Limited format, and across every format the community recommends 3A-D for collecting only.

  • Released in western countries by Hasbro as part of the SpeedStorm Starter Pack, Raid Lúinor L6 3A-D Destroy-SPM.
