About This Part

3 is a Takara Tomy Disc that debuted in Japan on January 27th, 2018 inside the B-102 Booster, Twin Nemesis 3Hit Ultimate Reboot. Unlike every odd-numbered Core Disc before it, 3 is symmetrical and elliptical, with three small protrusions on each side looped into the shape of a "3", similar to Knuckle and 8. A heavy ring at its centre gives it a centralized weight distribution akin to Yell and Central, which raises knockout resistance and spin velocity while its large, smooth underside grants strong life-after-death even without a Frame; the same centred weight, though, hurts spin retention after impact and slows mobile attack builds, and at 21.6 grams it is light enough to be outclassed by many rivals.

In Play

The community places 3 below most other Core Discs because of its light weight and its similarity to Yell, recommending it for collecting rather than competitive play.
