About This Part
2 is a Takara Tomy Disc that debuted in Japan on March 18th, 2017 inside the B-74 Starter, Kreis Satan 2Glaive Loop, and later reached the west through Hasbro's Star Storm Battle Set. As an even-numbered Core Disc it is symmetrical and elliptical, with a single protrusion per side flanked by "2"-shaped molding, and it carries a standard weight and an average weight distribution among Core Discs. That even balance makes it a jack-of-all-trades, adding momentum to attack builds, knockout resistance to defence builds and an acceptable level of stamina and burst resistance to stamina builds.
In Play
The community treats it as a solid backup whenever sharper specialists such as 4 or 7 are unavailable, rating it a welcome rather than essential addition to a collection.
- Released in Japan on March 18th, 2017 in the B-74 Starter, Kreis Satan 2Glaive Loop.
- Released in western countries by Hasbro as part of the Star Storm Battle Set.
The Competitive View
Even weight distribution and average weight give acceptable performance broadly -- enough momentum for Attack combos, enough Knock-Out resistance for Defense, and acceptable stamina and Burst resistance for Stamina combos.
Verdict as the draft gives it: A versatile, welcome-addition Disk usable in any combo type, and an alternative when 4 (better for Stamina/Defense) or 7 (better for Attack/Defense) are unavailable.
