About This Part
Takara Tomy named this DB Core, stylized as πerseus, after the monster-slaying hero of Greek mythology, releasing it within the Burst System and Dynamite Battle Layer System. Its Japanese debut came in July 2021, when it appeared as a prize piece in the B-00 Rare Bey Get Battle, Dynamite Perseus-6. Metal sits at four points around its rim, which makes it the heaviest DB Core of any spin direction, and that added mass gives it strong inertia along with above-average burst resistance from its four thick locks.
In Play
The community rates Perseus as essential gear whenever raw weight matters more than stamina or burst resistance, favouring it in attack builds for its knockout and burst-attack power, and it holds must-have status in the WBO's Burst format while remaining unplayable in GT, Limited and Classic.
