About This Part
Knight is a right-spin DB Core from Takara Tomy shaped like a knight's helmet, following on from the earlier Air Knight Cho-Z Layer. Both its burst resistance and stamina sit below the right-spin average, but it carries a vertical spring that tilts the piece sideways when struck, cushioning the hit and shoving the opponent back for solid knockout defence, in a similar spirit to the Deep Chaos God Layer's own spring gimmick; its BU Lock grooves also grip the raised tabs on the Xanthus and Moon discs.
In Play
The community rates Knight a welcome rather than essential pick for right-spin Defense builds in the WBO's Burst format, given its below-average resistance and stamina; it is barred from the GT, Limited, and Classic formats.
- Debuted in Japan on September 10th, 2022 with the B-202 Random Booster Vol. 30.
