About This Part
Dragon is a right-spin DB Core from Takara Tomy shaped around a dragon's head and claws, continuing the look of earlier Dragon-line parts. Like the Valkyrie 1 DB Core, it carries a spring inside that kicks it back when struck, letting a Dragon build land Bound Attacks; in practice that rebound can shake loose an attacking build, so it suits Defense and Stamina pairings better. Its spring sits more compressed than Valkyrie 1's, shortening the rebound while sharpening the defensive payoff.
In Play
The community calls Dragon a must-have for right-spin Defense and Stamina builds in the Burst format, citing its above-average burst resistance alongside the spring gimmick; it is barred from the GT, Limited, and Classic formats.
- Debuted in Japan on June 25th, 2022 with the B-199 Booster, Gatling Dragon Karma Charge Metal'-10.
