About This Part

Takara Tomy built the left-spin 3A, or 3-Attack, as a Double Chassis matched to the shape of the Rage Ring. It has a jagged, aggressive profile built around two large plastic blades that extend the metal dragon heads on Rage, plus a Disc integrated into its own body. The upward slope of its four big blades lets a Rage 3A pairing throw Upper Attacks on top of strong knockout and burst potential.

In Play

The community treats Rage 3A as a strong attacking pairing with real knockout and burst power, but rates it a welcome option rather than essential once Dynamite Battle Layers such as Guilty arrived to outclass Superking-era attackers; it is not legal in the GT, Limited, or Classic formats.

  • Debuted in Japan on June 27th, 2020 with the B-168 Booster, Rage Longinus Destroy' 3A.
  • Reached western markets through Hasbro's Pro Series Starter Pack, Rage Lúinor Destroy' 3A.
  • The spear-shaped blades are meant to evoke the Holy Spear, also called the Lance of Longinus.
