About This Part

Wind is a thick, wide-rimmed right-spin Stamina Type BU Blade made by Takara Tomy for the Burst System, the Dynamite Battle Layer System and the Burst Ultimate Layer Series, released in Japan through the B-202 Random Booster Vol. 30 on September 10th, 2022. Its shape follows the earlier Air Knight Cho-Z Layer, and a slide-and-lock tab across its two pieces lets its "propeller blades" switch between an Upper Force Mode and a Down Force Mode, while three wide gaps between the hub and rim are meant to push weight outward for extra Stamina. Upper Force Mode is meant to draw air downward through those gaps to lift the Beyblade slightly off the stadium floor and cut friction, while Down Force Mode reverses the airflow to press the Beyblade down for steadier footing.

In Play

The airflow gimmick has little real effect and mostly adds drag while spinning, yet the thick body, smooth wide rim and generous gaps still make Wind one of the strongest right-spin Stamina picks in the metagame, and it holds the largest diameter of any Layer released; strong same-spin and opposite-spin stamina performance makes it a must-have for the WBO's Burst format, though it is not legal in Burst GT, Burst Limited or Burst Classic.

  • Debuted in Japan with the B-202 Random Booster Vol. 30 on September 10th, 2022.
  • It holds the largest diameter of any Layer released to date.
