About This Part
Takara Tomy built Barricade as a right-spin Defense Type BU Blade, placing it in the Burst System and the Burst Ultimate Layer Series while also carrying the Dynamite Battle Layer System tag. It arrived in Japan on December 10th, 2022, inside the B-206 Booster named Barricade Lucifer Illegal Bearing Mobius-10. Its circular body carries four barrier blades that fling outward under spin force when launched, following the same idea as the earlier Variant Ring, shielding the Beyblade from an opponent's opening attacks before folding back in later in the match to add Stamina. As the closing release of Takara Tomy's Beyblade Burst toyline, it hides a small farewell message reading "Thank" and "You" underneath.
In Play
It punishes left-spin attackers such as Guilty Blade combinations especially well, but loses much of that edge against right-spin attackers and struggles badly on same-spin stamina matchups; competitive players treat it as a welcome but non-essential piece for the WBO's Burst format, and it does not qualify for Burst GT, Burst Limited or Burst Classic.
- Debuted in Japan with the B-206 Booster, Barricade Lucifer Illegal Bearing Mobius-10, on December 10th, 2022.
- Marked the final Blade release in Takara Tomy's Beyblade Burst toyline.
- Its underside hides the words "Thank" and "You" as a send-off, since it closed out the Beyblade Burst toyline.
