About This Part

Modelled on the Takara Tomy part that shares its name, Hasbro's Vanish is a QD Blade built as a round, left-spin Stamina Type piece carrying the same three dragon-head styling descended from the Fafnir Energy Layer line. Unlike its Takara Tomy counterpart, which is built mostly from rubber to boost Spin Steal, Hasbro's version is molded as a single plastic piece with the dragon heads simply painted on. The holes from the original design remain, but without rubber they no longer flex to absorb impact and instead become a weak point prone to cracking. It debuted in western markets in the QuadDrive Starter Pack sold as Vanish Fafnir F7 Tapered-Q Xtend+-Q+Kick-3, and switches between Apex and Core Modes by moving the Gravity Ring above or below the Blade.

In Play

The community judges Hasbro's Vanish too light for serious use in the current Standard metagame and heavily outclassed by other Stamina-oriented Energy Layers in the Limited format, treating it mainly as a piece for collectors rather than competitive play; it also carries no legal standing in the WBO's Burst Classic format.
