About This Part
Fafnir's earlier parts lend their three-dragon-head styling to Takara Tomy's Vanish, a round, left-spin Stamina Type Blade whose gaps between the heads form an 'F' shape referencing Fafnir. It is built almost entirely from rubber, giving every contact point spin-absorbing material, and the flexible ribs between the dragon heads compress inward on impact to soak up shock. That thick rubber body gives it excellent Stamina against both same-spin and opposite-spin opponents. It debuted in Japan on May 29th, 2021 with the B-185 Vanish Fafnir Tapered Kick-3 booster, and swaps between Low and High Modes by repositioning its DB Core and Armor.
In Play
In the defense/stamina spin-absorption build Vanish Bahamut/Longinus Over/Giga/Tapered Bearing'/Drift/High Xtend+', its weight offsets the weak Knockout resistance of the low-friction tips while its rubber and the high Life-After-Death of the Over/Giga/Tapered discs let it out-spin opposite-spin rivals; the community rates it a top Stamina option and a strong pick for the WBO's Burst format, though it holds no legal status in the WBO's Burst GT, Limited, or Classic formats.
