About This Part
Three rubber-tipped, V-shaped wings serve as Ultimate's main contact points, making Takara Tomy's release a right-spin Attack Type Blade for the Dynamite Battle Layer System that generates Smash Attack. Its shape borrows from the original Valkyrie Layer, with styling drawn from Winning Valkyrie, rubber sourced from the Savior Blade, and air-duct holes echoing the Slash Blade. Takara Tomy released it in Japan on December 11th, 2021 with the B-193 Ultimate Valkyrie Legacy Variable'-9 booster. Like other Blades in its line, it can be flipped between Low and High Modes by swapping the DB Core and Armor.
In Play
As the rubber wears away with use, exposed plastic pushes Ultimate's Smash Attack even higher at the cost of much greater recoil, and the community weighs it against right-spin rivals like Xiphoid and the left-spin Guilty, both of which offer similar attack power with less self-destructive recoil; it is treated as a solid but non-essential option for the WBO's Burst format, and it holds no legal status in the WBO's Burst GT, Limited, or Classic formats.
