About This Part
Katana, built by Hasbro for the Burst System and the QuadDrive System, spins right and carries a round shape classed as Stamina Type; its face design shows two hands gripping Muramasa-style swords. It debuted in the west through the Katana Muramasa M7 and Vanish Cobra C7 Dual Pack. Like other QuadDrive Blades, it flips between Apex and Core Modes when the Gravity Ring is relocated above or below the piece. Despite the round shape associated with Stamina Type parts, Katana runs thin with a hollow underside and sloped sides, leaving it lighter and less stable than rival Stamina Blades.
In Play
The community rates Katana as outclassed across formats: Takara Tomy's heavier Dynamite Battle and Gatinko Layers beat it in the Burst and Burst GT Formats, it offers no edge over rival Layers in Burst Limited, and it is not a legal choice in the Burst Classic Format at all.
- Released by Hasbro in the west in the Katana Muramasa M7 and Vanish Cobra C7 Dual Pack.
