About This Part
Takara Tomy built this Balance Type Blade to spin in either direction, releasing it for the Burst System and the Dynamite Battle Layer System in Japan on August 7th, 2021 inside the B-188 Astral Spriggan Customize Set. It carries two small rubber-tipped blades meant to equalize spin against opposing directions and two larger metal blades meant to hit hard, and flipping the piece over swaps which pair leads, changing its spin direction.
In Play
In its left-spin orientation, Astral's rubber blades give it strong spin-equalizing ability against popular right-spin Blades like Dynamite and Wind, though its own Attack falls well short of dedicated left-spin attackers such as Guilty; its right-spin orientation trades away most of that equalizing strength along with any real Attack, and its Stamina lags behind right-spin Stamina Blades like Wind. Competitive players see it as a solid but non-essential pick for the WBO's Burst format, comparable to its predecessor the World Superking Layer, and it carries no legality in the WBO's Burst GT, Burst Limited or Burst Classic formats.
