About This Part

Takara Tomy gave Lord a dual-spin, Balance Type build within the Gatinko Layer System, and the piece later carried into the Pro Series System. It first sold in Japan on August 10th, 2019, in the B-149 GT Triple Booster Set, then crossed into western markets in Hasbro's Pro Series Starter Pack as Lord Spryzen Around-P Fusion'. Four blades ring the piece: two carved into a spriggan face, a trickster figure from Cornish folklore, and two large rubber blades reinforced with a metal lining. The overall outline echoes the older Legend Spriggan Layer, while the rubber-blade trick recalls the God Layer-era Spriggan Requiem. A twist of the base's underside by hand flips its spin direction, no separate tool needed.

In Play

Setting Lord to spin opposite the opponent lets its rubber, metal-lined blades cushion contact through friction, cutting recoil and boosting both defence and stamina; the community treats it as a strong pick for spin-equalization stamina builds. Its lopsided blade layout barely changes performance either way because the piece is round enough to even it out. Tournament-wise, the WBO rates it unnecessary for the standard Burst format, a solid but non-essential pickup for Burst GT, and bans it outright from both the Limited and Classic formats.
