About This Part
Quattro I is Hasbro's first Armor Tip adaptation of Takara Tomy's Quattro Driver, released for the Burst System's QuadDrive line; it debuted in the QuadDrive Starter Pack, Astral Spryzen S7 Over-Q Quattro-Q+Quattro I-0. Fitted to a QuadDrive Driver it becomes the "Plus Mode" contact point at roughly SpeedStorm Driver height, and is modelled on the Quattro Driver's Balance Mode, with a flat tip and a centre protrusion.
In Play
Because its perimeter is plastic rather than rubber it behaves like Fusion, spinning stably on the centre protrusion when launched straight down and swinging into an aggressive movement pattern off the flat tip when knocked off balance before settling back onto the protrusion. It is not recommended in the Burst, Burst GT, Burst Limited and Burst Classic formats: it only fits Hasbro's outclassed Layers in Burst and Burst GT, and once the gimmick is removed other Stamina Type drivers beat it in Limited and Classic.
